Compared with Spain
Paraguay has no transfer tax like Spain’s ITP. In Catalonia a resale home pays 10% ITP; in Paraguay total closing costs usually stay below 3%.
If you sign from Europe
You can sign through a power of attorney granted before a notary in your country and apostilled. That cost depends on the notary and is not included in the table.
After buying
Annual property tax of 1% on the fiscal value, which is usually well below market value, plus building service charges for apartments.
My fees
I confirm them in writing before any reservation. There is never a cost you do not know before signing.
